The OASA Springboard 2011 is a one day program for fastball players and coaches.  Springboard introduces athletes to the fastball skills of pitching, catching, fielding, and hitting.  At the same time there will be an opportunity for coaches to learn about practice organization, skills, drills, and strategy.  The sessions will be for athletes 8 to 12 years of age and 13 to 19 years old.  The coaching sessions are primarily for minor team coaches. 

The Springboard event will be held in Ridgetown on April 16, 2011. The event will feature certified coaches and senior players as instructors.  Participants must register in advance by going to the OASA website at www.oasa.ca and clicking on the front page for the Springboard event.  There will be a $5.00 participation fee payable at the door.  The OASA will also be taking registrations at the door but there will be a limited amount of space.  To avoid disappointment, register early online.
